PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Fifteen years experience in Border Collie Rescue. (Retired)
Founder and President of North American Border Collie Rescue Network, Inc. (NABCRN).
Eight years, president of New England Border Collie Rescue, Inc. (NEBCR), and one of the founders of the organization, former intake coordinator, former member of the policies committee, and former website designer and manager (retired). Currently President Emeritus and Librarian.
Owner, publisher, editor, and producer of The Shepherd's Dogge (a Border Collie publication), 1988-2002.
Co-author with Marjorie Quarton of The Working Border Collie, (book) published by T.F.H. Publishers.
Freelance writer for a variety of publications.
Co-founder and co-director of Sheep-to-Shawl Tour of Scotland, (a small group tour to sheep and fiber-related sites), 1983-1992.
Editor of NEBCA News (newsletter of the North East Border Collie Association (NEBCA)), and one of the founders of the organization .
Editor of the newsletter of the Essex County (Massachusetts) Sheep Breeders Association, and one of the founders of the organization (defunct).
Editor of the Newsletter and Journal (a publication of the Boston Area Spinners & Dyers (BASD)).
Art editor of the Carlisle, Massachusetts Mosquito (the town newspaper), and one of the founders of the publication.
Instructional Materials Assistant (all graphic arts production for use of the instructors), Hunter College Audio-Visual Center.
EDUCATION: BA in Art/Education from Hunter College, City University of New York.
